Not much of a surprise but Rod Smith got the vet minimum, no guarantee. Camp body contract.

RB are easy to find. I want someone with some serious pop behind Jacobs.

Someone like Zack Moss if they drop to the 4th/5th.

Perriman has had like three good games his entire career

Not only was it just 3 games.... Godwin and Evans were out most of those 3 games.... leaving him as the only viable target.

Snap Counts:

Week15: Evans-0, Godwin-46(61%)

Week16: Evans-0, Godwin-0

Week17: Evans-0, Godwin-0

* So Perriman has 2 full games as only viable WR option for the lass happy offense as well as 1 games in which he was the 2nd option for 2/3 of it and only option for last 1/3.

In first 13 games of the season:

19 catches on targets 43 targets= 44% catch rate

in weeks 2-7 he had a stretch we’re he caught 1/11 passes thrown his way.  The first 1/2 the season he was 3/16 (19%).

i hope the dude really just broke out cuz he’s had some tough first few years and maybe he’s worked hard to turn it around.... but this just seems like the perfect recipe for a bad signing and a regression in his play.

Shawn Williams (4.9m cap hit, last year of deal and only .4M dead cap) was already considered a possible cut by Cincy and now they just added Vonn Bell on a 3yr deal I could see him getting cut.  He’d be a nice add.  Cincy also has Wayne (10.0m) Kirkpatrick (11.1M- 2.8m dead cap but only 1.4m if June 1st cut) and Jackson (9.6m- zero dead cap if cut) plus MacKenzie Alexander who they recently signed for the slot.  They also have ‘18 5th rounder Darius Phillips (‘19: 8 games, 4ints, 7 pd’s, 5 tackles..... how is that possible???) in the slot.

i think there is a good chance they cut a safety and or CB.  Any of these guys would be good pickups and system fits obviously.

Interesting the Nassib deal wasn’t made official and no contract details have come out.  Maybe it’s been help up due to cap reasons or something similar to Brockers deal with Baltimore, where his knee condition has put the deal in limbo.

he finished the season healthy it seems.  I’m just just saying it’s odd the deal hasn’t been made official and I’m wondering why.
