textaz03
And he will be picked up tomorrow on waivers. when you want to trade somebody, you can’t make them inactive for fear of injury, it tips your hand and tells teams he will most likely be released. You need to hide your cards and showcase him. He should have been out on the field these last 2 games IMO.

So you arent exactly right here.

matt79511
I would be kind of surprised if Taco gets claimed off waivers tbh. Would save us ~$1.7M against the cap if he does. Otherwise we’d save whatever offsets he gets on his minimum deal (~600K)
WizardHawk
I seen a post yesterday that team tried to trade him during the draft as well. Biggest bust since 2000? Charlton or Carp?

Tony7188
Good riddance. I remember being pissed when they drafted him over TJ Watt, who was obviously the better player. Then they tried to sell everyone on Taco being the better "pick". Early signs looks to be of deja Vu in the 2019 draft, selecting Trysten Hill (who's now inactive) over the remaining available safeties like Juan Thornhill. We will see what happens though. WizardHawk
"Didn't see eye to eye with RM." The Cowboys draft philosophy has been excellent, but this is one of those instances where all those voices in the draft room became in hindrance. I feel they got off track of what they normally do and got burned.
D82
T.J. Watt would have looked great in a Cowboys uniform
WizardHawk
Biggest bust in Dallas history? I don't think it's out of the question. This is bad tbh.
