They’re not going to do anything unless he gets linked directly to the scandals in Washington. As for the stuff Swearinger brought up, that’s much more a concern for him causing another rift in the locker room if he tries it again, rather than something that alone is going to get a guy fired right now. Doesn't sugarcoat things about where this org is either. Really hope these young guys we have now (Chark, Taylor, Allen, etc.) can be that next legit long term nucleus that can put us back on the map again and be lynchpins for the next 6-8+ years like Searcy, Brackens, Boselli, Jimmy, etc. were way back when. The $17M opened up with Yan deal could go right to Clowney on a short term deal. Take some immediate pressure off Chaisson and allow him to heavily rotate instead of be a main guy right off the bat. Lastly our DL depth isn't great...he'd be a large improvement, especially as a run defender. I'd prefer to steer clear I think and just let Chaisson and co. get the immediate development/snaps though. I get why we'd be at least monitoring it though.
