So we’ve just stopped throwing it deep now that the gunslinger got benched?

It’s almost like a kid with 14 starts in a college spread offense isn’t ready after 3 weeks to stand in the pocket reading NFL defenses to determine when to pull the trigger on deeper shots as opposed to easy, scripted short passes. Especially with no receivers, run game, or blocking to help. No one could have expected this...

But hey, the fans got a little less bored for a minute. So...problem solved.

Ya, but a kid with 14 college starts shouldn’t have been the 15th pick in the draft then.

McLaurin, Reed and Scherff? On offense? For sure, they would have made a difference. We know McLaurin and Reed are for sure great receiving weapons and we’ve missed them today.

The score might be a bit closer (and possibly you wouldn't see Haskins right now), but the end result would have been the same.

So Keenum being on the field somehow made receivers get wide open down the field at least 5 times this season? Got it.
