Elky
Yes, the Boogeymen is a team endorsed nickname. Who would win in a matchup between these two? Edited October 12, 2019 by Elky
SBLIII
Not sure. Will have to wait until we play better offenses but I'm leaning towards 2019.
DoleINGout
As good as the defense seems, Welker and Moss would have their way and Stallworth and Gaffney could win their battles against these corners too. The front seven versus the offensive line is where it gets interesting.

Gilmore vs Moss would be amazing to watch I think 1st 10 games 2007 Patriots would beat this team handily late season 2007 Pats not sure, probably not.

Yeah late season 2007 Pats would get destroyed by this pass rush But early 2007 Pats before they got banged up probably wins
Hunter2_1
2007. But it would be hard. So is this D called boogeymen? Not a fan... Edited October 13, 2019 by Hunter2_1
CP3MVP
Our secondary is too deep this year.
Spooky
I think this years D wins out in this. They are loaded. Gilmore vs. Moss, do they let Gilmore cover him or double him? Jones vs Welker, I think this is the matchup to watch if the Pats decided to give Gilmore safety help Stallworth vs McCourty, this isn't a bad matchup. Linebackers are so deep, pass rush. This would be amazing to watch though.
Hunter2_1
How can we say 07 Moss would be contained, when we don't actually have any like-for-like proof of that yet? Are you forgetting the season Moss had? I guess the closest thing we have is how we played Hill - one game he torched us (admittedly last season) and one game we contained him, but others went off. I'd predict the 07 Pats would so something similar. If we stopped Moss, Welker would get it. Welker is our most prolific receiver in franchise history, and with the 07 Brady throwing to him - sorry, I don't give Jones the nod in that one. 24-21 to 2007. Which is incredible considering the 07 team had games where they scored 38, 38, 38, 48, 49, 52, 56. Sucks that Gronk isn't apart of any of this... rfournier103
2019 Defense. I always pick the defense. That’s what wins championships.
Hunter2_1
Do you all think this defense will be historical? We talking 2000 Ravens here? Because our 07 offense is probably the gold standard.

Let's see what happens when our opposing QB list is guys with more than just washed up backup vets and green as grass young bucks (outside of Ben obviously).

Baltimore will be the first good offense we will face. Then Houston, KC, DAL and PHI
