I don't know how anyone can watch this team and think that hiring Jim Leonhard to lead it is a smart idea. We need outside influence or we're just done as a program. Just absolutely inexcusable in all aspects from the coaching to the players to the administration allowing Chryst to hire this staff. Top down failure but I'm sure they're happy that they're getting their bowl game money and keeping that streak alive. Just getting completely left behind in the modern era. Even if Mertz was in there we lose. The Ground Squirrels were better but they lucked out becuz our best offensive player was out.
