Not only that but agents help them with endorsement opportunities, financial services, marketing, public relations, are their baby sitters, etc.

Right, so you hire a lawyer that can do that stuff while negotiating the other language on your own.  

As for the marketing opps and what not, you can handle that separately.  For example, LeBron's marketing and stuff is all done by Mav Carter and RWTW.

Way too big of a hastle to have different people working on different efforts with 0 to little cohesion. Creates chaos at times. Hell, agents hate when players even have a publicist. Just too many cooks in the kitchen.

Totally with CAS22. If you're going to get a max deal, zero reason to have an agent.

It's nowhere near that simple. Players need more counsel, not less. Many times they're not mature enough to handle everything. Just watch "Broke".
