That’s just normal lingo. Of course they want him to be the GM for many years. They aren’t going to say, Dave hasn’t produced the way we want, he could be fired next year. We could have had Bill Belichick as the head coach the past two years and the record wouldn't have been much better. Looking forward to a Rex Ryan of sorts to replace him.
