Fair enough. I still think that if the WWE is allowed to continue, and the MLB is working on a way to start playing games, than the UFC could have made it work had they not attached themselves to Disney. You can think that all you want but 249 was never going to happen. It doesn't matter who they were or weren't attached to. I'm not trying to be a **** to you but I called just about this exact timeline a few weeks back. This event was never going to happen - Tachi Palace, some Island, Mars, Mordor, Bikini Bottom; doesn't matter, the event was never happening. The WWE can literally do just about whatever the want - ther own the building, they own the company, they have a "sport" that's not governed by any players union, commission or collectively bargained on. And all the people saying it’s unsafe better feel the same way about WWE who are currently putting on shows. The difference is that the WWE did it in a state that didn't have shelter in place guidelines established. The State of California could've easily had law enforcement show up to the event and shut it down because they have legal authority there and the event is breaking shelter in place guidelines of no gatherings of 10+ people.

Big Snack
Gavin Newsome called Disney and asked them to step in. Until that the event was on

Can't run forever Ivan If you truly believe that Khabib is afraid to fight Tony????? I don't know what to tell ya. Even Dumb Dana came out and defended Khabib going to Russia. Not saying that Tony CAN'T win that fight, but I highly doubt that he does. He will more than likely become another notch on the belt. And then Conor can take another beating if he wants!!!

"Since the 1950s, the state of California has full criminal authority over activities in Indian country," said Gabe Galanda a member of the Round Valley Indian Tribes of California. "State and county governments regularly enter tribal land to enforce state and county laws -- even laws that are contradicted by tribal laws -- and California officials have begun criminally charging people and businesses who violate the stay-at-home order. Galanda referred to a concept known as "rent a tribe" -- whereby businesses set up on tribal land to avoid state regulation -- and said California might intervene to stop UFC 249. That sets up well now. I just don't really see what Tony does next considering that Khabib likely won't be ready to fight until September.
