BullsandBroncos
Francis robbed. Not surprised. Was never going to be given the decision even if he won which he did

Wanted to bet Fury +100 live despite not watching, was never going to be a Ngannou Dec Crazy thing is that Francis could have easily won but both dudes kinda took off the last two rounds and didn't do much. If he went for it at all he would've won.
DreamKid
Most HW MMA standup is just low level boxing with really small gloves and most HW boxing is just really big guys with lower level boxing that can hit hard. The extra confidence that comes with facing bigger gloves(less KO potential), shorter round times, and opponent's with less clinch strength emboldens these MMA to Boxing fighters. There's also an adjustment period for traditional boxers when first dealing with MMA distance, movement, angles, and timing. Typically skill and experience win out, like we saw in McGregor-Mayweather, but there's definitely some element of danger in boxers taking these fights against fearless opponents with nothing to lose- especially in the heavier divisions where skill/experience starts mattering less and physical gifts reign supreme. Would expect this means a lot more boxing for Ngannou which makes sense as he's not in the UFC and HW MMA is never all that compelling. He should be able to get some big PPV fights against guys like Wilder, Joshua, etc and then PFL will throw him easy fights in MMA when they feel like it I suppose.
11sanchez11
the craziest thing about the fight is that francis is 37 and coming off an acl surgery, doesn't make any sense

DreamKid
Saw Ariel whining about a DM and thought one of the replies raised an interesting question. There's no need to discuss the specific politics of this issue, but something to monitor going forward is Ari Emmanuel's reaction to the very prominent contingent of fighters and their followers who have passionate takes on the turmoil currently taking place in the ME. If things continue to escalate I imagine public comments(in and out of the octagon) from fighters will become stronger and stronger, and Ari's familial connections to the Israeli military might become a larger subject.

11sanchez11
Almeida is averaging like 4 minutes of control time per round and 4 strikes landed per round. Lewis prob has landed 4 total strikes
