Did some trades. Cannot confirm to who or for what Done Johnson and Christian Kirksey were traded for, but can confirm that it was at least a second. Also, in a stunning game of chicken, we traded our 2020 1st to Pittsburgh so we could draft the last elite corner on the board so that Pittsburgh could grab a corner in the second round who would be garbage.

Pick Player Pos College
1:26 Kristian Fulton CB LSU
2:6 Isaiah Simmons LB/SS Clemson
2:13 Albert Okwuebunam TE Missouri
2:26 Nick Coe LE/DT Auburn
4:6 Liam Eichenberg OT Notre Dame
4:13 Alaric Jackson OT Iowa
5:6 LaBryan Ray DL Alabama
6:6 Cameron Dantzler CB Mississippi State
7:26 Stephen Montez QB Colorado

Dorsey and Co. identify this class as special and aim to stock up on talent for years to come. Schobert and Njoku want too much money so we trade both, along with malcontent Duke Johnson and Christian Kirksey. We extend Ogunjobi, Randall and Garrett.

Robinson and Hubbard don't work out so we go hard at offensive line, also grabbing a potential starting center and guards for dayes.

Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns

Pick Player Pos College
1:25 Andrew Thomas OT Georgia
2:15 Albert Okwuebunam TE Missouri
2:25 Jacob Phillips LB LSU
3:15 Mekhi Becton OT Louisville
3:25 Calvin Throckmorton G Oregon
3:26 Darryl Williams C Mississippi State
4:15 K.J. Costello QB Stanford
4:25 LaBryan Ray DL Alabama
5:2 Tommy Kraemer G Notre Dame
5:6 Jake Breeland TE Oregon
5:15 Ben Cleveland G Georgia
6:3 Zack Moss RB Utah
7:10 Marvin Wilson DL Florida State

Unrealistic (have to have 1-2 obligatory ‘canes). Alonzo would be ashamed.

Good thinking. Especially because our linebackers are meh and Miami has two absolute stud muffins coming out in 2020.

Shaq Quarterman & Michael Pinckney.

Quarterman is a prototype MIKE LB that smashes people in between the tackles. Has good but not great range. Meh in coverage, but certainly not terrible either. He's a true thumper that obliterates guards and fullbacks in the hole. He's also a superb leader in the locker room.

Pinckney is a more of a well-rounded player. He can do it all really. The only thing he hasn't done consistently is blitz for an OLB. He can play 3 LB'er positions in our 4-3 but his best fit is at WLB. He's not as twitched as some of the traditional WILL's in today's NFL, but he holds up very well in coverage and against the run.

The U has two other prospects we might be interested in (Jonathan Garvin DE) (Navaughn Donaldson OT), but I think both of those dudes are fool's gold. Give me Quarterman and Pinckney all day though. They're excellent NFL prospects.

Unless offensive tackle is a dumpster fire, I actually want to trade down as crazy as that sounds. Start preparing for guys we won’t be able to resign.

I think Isaiah Simmons would make sense as a pure WILL, but I need to see our defense this year.

Just a gut feeling, but unless the offensive line sucks, I can see every draft pick being used to bolster the defense into a elite unit.

I don’t think Baker needs insane talent around him on offense to have success. Treat him like the Saints have treated Brees and just give him protection from the defense.

I could definitely see an OL, TE and WR drafted next year.  Don’t think a QB is out of the question either on day 3.

As much as I’m sure Dorsey’d love to keep building that defense, gotta keep developing the young talent on offense too. Guys like DeValve, Tretter and Higgins are likely gone after this year, Njoku and Harris the next.  Then you have guys like Hubbard who’s expensive and Robinson who’s still in the “wait and see” spot.  He may be a long term solution, he may need to be replaced, we’ll see.

Depending on how things play out with Duke and Hunt, we may be in the market for a RB.
