jetfuel34
I'm not a big fan of Yannick Ngakoue. He only had 8 sacks last year. I think it is a joke they want a 1st round pick for him. I would trade a 3 and 5 combo and that is about it. I don't even know if I would do the first round swaps for him. Like I said he had 8 sacks last year and was not really that good. If you want a pass rush GW can create some pass rush with the guys we have. If Adams would have played all year he would have had more sacks than him. I think most of you guys are overrating him.
DowNY
Dustin Keller was cool too. Shame his career got shortened.
Bobby816
I liked Kerley too. He’d be what I consider our last good drafted WR.

Not like we’re sure how much prep time we’ll get for the season so reps are important and will probably be limited. Can’t have a backup who needs to learn everything taking away from Sam’s reps with the new OL.
Bianconero
I never understood the "he knows the offense" thing Are new, better players incapable of "knowing the offense?" At least bring in backup QBs with potential. Instead, let's run around in a circle of mediocrity So Adam Gase

You never anticipate bringing him in but when you do you want things to be as normal as possible for the rest of the team. Again we don’t know how many opportunities the team will have to get together before training camp. I would prefer Winston but he might cost more than a backup should. We aren’t touching Newton either. We can draft a guy but how many other QB options are out there right now that make sense for us as a team. There are barely 32 quality starting quarterbacks so there’s even less backup options. Don’t see how that’s an indictment on Gase. Bring in a guy who knows the system, doesn’t need the reps or at least many. I don’t see the issue.
KingOfNewYork
Carolina brought in an XFL QB who knows the coach. New England brought back Hoyer who’s familiar with the staff. Washington brought in Kyle Allen who’s familiar with the head coach. LA Chargers had Tyrod backing up Rivers, Tyrod worked with Lynn in Buffalo. Chicago brought in Foles who worked with Nagy in KC. This is an NFL thing. Every team has done it.
JetsandI
Matt Moore knows Gase too. Plus 15 year experience under his NFL belt. Oh Fales is cheap.. Never mind.

Maybe Matt Moore said no. We don’t know what other avenues they went but Fales was at least in the building last year. Let’s just hope we don’t need him to play.
