Tannehill still holds a lead in combined EPA+CPOE despite the fact that he's played half the year without:

Derrick Henry(Had him for 8 games, one of which was the Colts game where he broke his foot on one of the first plays)

With one of the 2 or 3 worst pass blocking offensive lines in football:

And a good number of games on the season where his best receiver on the field for either the entirety or majority of the game was your pick from Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Marcus Johnson or Chester Rogers.

And despite that, still holds a substantial lead on Wentz in PFF's grading(which, for all the fun that is made of their grading overall, PFF's QB grading has been found to be one of the best year to year indicators of continued success)

Tannehill has a far worse supporting cast across the board and Wentz isn't even managing to match him in terms of efficiency, much less surpass him.

Let’s be honest both Wentz and Tannehill are in the same tier this year. Neither have been top 10.

If you take into account that Wentz has had basically a fully healthy offense all year, and that Tannehill has had an entirely decimated offense due to injuries all year, then yeah, they're the same. Sure.

You didn’t watch the Colts at all OL was beat up and didn’t have Fisher until almost halfway through the season. I had to watch trash Davenport play for 4 weeks ugh. Also you want to talk about weapons Pittman is his only legit WR. Downplay Wentz all you want but he’s having a decent season back from his horrendous 2020 year.

Man, the fact that you're even trying to defend this means you have no clue what has been missed from this offense. Take Pittman away, take Taylor away, take your two other best WR's away, get down to your 4th sting tackle and third string guard and then try to make the comparison.

Wentz can be a play maker in this league and excels IMO when there is no adversity.  There is not doubt that he can make plays and put up numbers that Tanny can match. The problem with Wentz is when things start to go 'wrong' he struggles, for what ever reason.

the argument that Wentz had as much adversity or difficulty this season as Tanny did is crazy IMO.   NOW if Wentz was doing all this with out TAYLOR for the past 6 plus weeks then we can talk.  Let alone the lack of having a steady WR core for the WHOLE season. Barely having 1 of your top 3 WR's on a regular basis. And having musical chairs at TE regularly.
