In general, dominating defense and strong special teams (which we finally have) along with competent offense has also worked for teams like the Ravens to great success.

Another part hopes Callahan works his magic and he turns into a legit reclamation project. It would be nice to put Wills and his underachieving rear-end in our rearview mirror. My understanding is he’s always been a decent pass blocker but his run blocking is arse. If Callahan can figure out how to get competent run blocking out of him we may have something. I think the idea of him being Wills replacement long term is absurdly premature, but I’m glad he played well. I also think he’s good enough to keep Dewand at RT this season and Hudson as an extra lineman.

Absolutely need to keep Dewand at RT if at all possible this season
DaWg_LB.
I just heard about the CJ Stroud for MVP of the league talk.... I admit I must be a few steps behind the party.....I know he's having a Good Year, but if they are talking about MVP already, you KNOW the Warren Moon Comparisions are about to start.... BetterCallSaul
We will really see how good these backup OT’s are this week. Last week was finesse pass rushers. This week is “rip your fn face off.”

Kiwibrown
Got to give props to Berry for finding a viable 5th tackle. We have had plenty of starters worse than this.

candyman93
The only difference between us and the 2015 Broncos on defense is that we don’t have a Demarcus Ware. Z Smith is trying though. Edited November 14, 2023 by candyman93
