kyle21121
I've inadvertently started a Kubrick watch/re watch in place of sports I watched Full Metal Jacket last night and Barry Lyndon this morning. What are your guys top 5 Kubrick? and I'm thinking either 2001 or Spartacus next (I haven't seen either). Thoughts?

Thoughts? 2001 just to see it. its slightly less boring than Blade Runner, but HAL is amazing. top 5 kubrick 1 clockwork orange 2 strangelove 3 the shining 4 the killing 5 FMJ edit: if you liked Barry Lyndon, you have no problem with slow movies. So 2001 for sure Edited March 15, 2020 by Malfatron

So 2001 for sure I did like Barry Lyndon. It did take me about 45 mins to get into it. It was good would crack my top 5 and am unsure if I’ll ever rewatch it though. For me: 1. A Clockwork Orange 2. Full Metal Jacket 3. Dr. Strangelove 4. The Shining 5. Paths of Glory

Small Town Values
Decided to watch some 90s, 80s & 70s - Spielberg films... Just completed... (1997) What a snoozefest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now having serious reservations about sitting down for another 2hr 30mins to watch... (1987) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also watched... (1971) Still one of his best after all these years. Simple, but effective. MacReady
Just watched Feast again for the first time in forever. I had forgotten so much. Forgot how gross it was in parts and way over the top it was. It’s a fun ultra-violent, ultra-crude creature feature that doesn’t take itself remotely seriously if anyone’s into that sort of thing.
