rackcs
Oklahoma City EF5s Nothing Submitted Ivory Coast Black Rhinos OffensePrimary Formation: 11 Personnel- For this game we come out in a 11 personnel formation, leveraging Terry McLaurin, Robby Anderson, and Corey Davis (who was healthy before his bye; if ineligible, replace with Chase Claypool / Curtis Samuel rotating) as the wideouts, and Jared Cook (if scratched, Kyle Rudolph) at tight end. We have Anthony Sherman for short yardage situations, Kyle Rudolph to assist with jumbo packages. Running Game Focus- We are going to run the ball about 15-20 times with Johnson, and sprinkle in some RPO plays with Tannehill as well. Outside of that, with a rather depleted running game, we aren’t going to look to wear Johnson down very much, keeping him mainly to catch the defense off-balance. Passing Game Focus- Ryan Tannehill is going to air it out this game, and just be trusted with the ball. We’re going to come out slinging, using the running game to catch the defense off-guard, and continue to pass the ball around. We’re going to use rub routes to beat man coverage, and flood routes to beat zone. We’re going to trust our offensive line to keep Tannehill upright, and open the occasional hole for Johnson. X-Factor on Offense: Ryan Tannehill- Ryan Tannehill will embody the Rex Grossman philosophy of “F it we’re going deep” and just pile up the yardage and the points. DefenseDefensive Formation: 4-2-5 Defense- We anticipate OKC will come out in their 3 wide set, so we prepare with our 4-2-5 defense. Lavonte David and Devin White will operate as the two linebackers. We will bring in Patrick Queen when they have 2 receivers or fewer, to present a 4-3 front and Roby will go off. When going to dime package, David will remain on the field and Diggs will come on. Secondary Coverage: Man Cover 1- Devin McCourty will be the lone safety high. Cornerbacks will be approximately 80% in man, with 20% zone concepts utilizing cover 3 with the outside CBs and McCourty dividing up the deep thirds. Patrick Peterson will shadow their #1, Jaylon Johnson will take the #2. We will throw in some jam, but mostly it will be close man coverage. Defensive Box: Blitz the extra linebacker- We’re facing Patrick Mahomes. He’s good. When we play man, we’ll have our cornerbacks matched up on their receivers, Jordan Whitehead will cover the running back (if no back in, the second TE), and Lavonte David and Devin White will rotate on the primary TE and alternate blitzing Mahomes with a 5th man. Our edges are going to be focused on collapsing the pocket and getting to Mahomes, with the defensive interior one-gapping to get in and disrupt Mahomes. The hopes is that the pressure of 5 rushing will result in some turnovers that we hope to help swing the game in our favor. X-Factor on Defense: Khalil Mack – He’s hungry, he’s got a lot of motivation, and he’s going to feast on Morgan Moses. We might also have Chase Young back. rackcs
OKC probably all caught Covid but the BDL didn't plan out proper procedures for how to handle it and therefore OKC had to forfeit
