Clemson also isn't helping their case if they want to keep their football team in the ACC.

The conference just might force the team to go independent (which would be a blessing in disguise as it would allow them to potentially play a real schedule) and bring in Cincinnati as full member #16, 14 for football, and realign its football teams into North and South divisions.

Should the big 10 kick OSU out too? It’d be the exact same thing.

Unless Penn State upsets OSU, the playoff will be:

Alabama

Clemson

Ohio State

Whoever loses to Alabama in the 1st round.

I don’t see how you put a two loss Georgia or Florida in over some other possible options. Even a one loss PSU or Wisconsin.

At least the Big Ten has more programs that have a lot of nutritional value for their opponents than the ACC. Relatively speaking.

But my view on Dino Babers still stands. He's practically a one-hit wonder at this point. Syracuse can't possibly be OK with how they are doing under him this season.

Consider this, when Syracuse won 10 games and had a top 25 finish two years ago, I had high hopes for them in 2019, including the hope they'd represent the ACC in the playoff. But they hugely disappointed, and are only getting worse.

Huge regressions like that are usually punished with firing after the season. Ask Romeo Crennell. He led the Browns to a 10-6 record in 2007, but missed the playoffs on a tiebreaker. They probably would have been in the playoffs had they beat the Steelers at least once that year. The Browns had lofty expectations in 2008, but they crashed back to last place. An extension Crennell was awarded with a year before became a moot point, as he was fired after the season. As it turned out, he became the first full-time Browns coach to fail to beat the Steelers, who won the Super Bowl that year, further frustrating Browns fans over the 2008 season. Many wanted a "Curse of the 12th Man" for how the Steelers exploited penalties against the Seahawks in their Super Bull [sic] XL win. But it was not to be. The Browns are only starting to recover from the disappointment of 2007, as 2014 proved to be false hope.
