Giants cut Baker only a year after making him the 30th overall pick in the 2019 draft. Now, a day after the charges leading to his release were dropped, the Chiefs have decided to scoop him up to their practice squad. The Chiefs could definitely use the Corner help.

He obviously wanted to go to KC

Sure, but he cant control who signs him off of PS. He just got a new lease on life, im sure he's happy to resume the game loves wherever it is

Yes he can? He has to sign the contract a team would offer him? You can't just steal a player off of someone's practice squad without the player agreeing to it

Plus I am pretty sure he still gets all of his rookie contract paid to him since they are guaranteed, so he got paid 4 years for 1 year of work.

Edit: Looks like he earned $6.1MM according to OTC
