NBA Betting Thread

Recommended Posts

We have one of these in the NFL forum and with gambling becoming legal in more states, I thought it would be cool to get an NBA focused betting thread.

I usually bet LEGALLY through Fanduel/Draftkings and wanted to see if any other NBA fans bet on game. My focus is on player props (pts, rebs ast over/unders).

Opening night(12/22) lines are posted:

Warriors (+5) vs Brooklyn

Clippers(+2.5) vs Lakers

Let's hear everyone's thoughts along with future bets! (MVP, DPOY, Champs, etc)

im kind of a moron but it's legal everywhere thru **** like mybookie/bovada/etc., nah?

It's a grey area and with companies like my bookie, bovada, etc. I've read a ton of stories about people having issues with getting paid after hitting on big parlays or bets.

Yeah when I signed up for Bet Online I declined to take their offer to match my first deposit because it makes you have to bet a ton to be able to cash out. When your buddies cash out do they use bitcoin or straight cash? I'm just praying that Sports Books become legal in California soon so that I can just place bets on my phone via Fanduel.

It's because the Oregon lottery controls sports betting in your state, not the casinos. Hopefully California will approve Sports Books by 2022 so we can legally use FanDuel and other bookies that have player prop bets and more options. The reason California casinos are currently blocking it is because the bills that have been proposed aren't just for sportsbooks they also want to legalize online poker tournaments which would hurt casino revenue so they're doing their best to stop it. They need to just ungroup the two and let us bet on some damn sports.
