I don't think the Patriots offense has been very innovative for the last couple years. They basically throw it to the RB half the time and hope he gets yac. It looks a lot like the Eagles/Matt Sanchize offense, but worked a lot better with Tom Brady.

Can't really say I've watched them, obviously took a hard downturn with no weapons and Cam this year.

He's managed to keep them top 7 in offense every year besides 2020 , despite the almost pedestrian cast of skill position players they've had. Like they had a year of Brandon Cooks, Edelman and Gronk when healthy  (Josh never had him for 16 games)

However it's important to note...the Pats were the same when he wasn't there, so can't give him too much credit. A lot of it goes to Brady.

Miles, Goedert are already better than what he's had. Reagor has better tools that what they drafted up there lately...who knows if her develops

It would be the Jets.
The Patriots had ok weapons until this year. Edelman is better than any of our WR's the last couple years, and that Gronk guy was pretty good. James White was also very good after the catch.

Gronk wasn't there the last two seasons like he said. Edelman was completely washed this past season. White is cool as a 3rd down back

Gronk hasn't played for the Patriots in 3 years and they were a great offense that year. Edelman played 6 games this year, they had the worst playmakers in the NFl this year, even worse than the jets

All of it. Well, 33% goes to the NE defenses too. They were always pretty good.

Yeah, he definitely doesn't have a ton of it. But he was doing something up there for that long ha.

It's just where we are at. I wouldn't be on this side of it if we were some cherry job ready to win like the Chargers were.
We got scraps to choose from, people who barely have had any real success are turning us down. Just being realistic and trying to figure out their rational. Like I said in my post this morning, trying to view it optimistically. Need some shimmer of good thought for this team, if that is on a Patriots retread...well than that speaks to just how low things have gotten.

Tom Brady just had the 2nd best (regular) season of his career at age 43, without McDaniels. Meanwhile, McDaniels offense looked like crap the moment he didn't have the greatest QB in NFL history running it, just like it looked like crap in Denver when he didn't have Tom Brady. Josh McDaniels has never looked good (or even average) without Tom Brady. Tom Brady has looked great without Josh McDaniels. McDaniels success relies entirely on Tom Brady. With Carson Wentz/McDaniels combo, we're picking top 5 next year.

He led matt cassel to the 7th best offense in the league. Made Brisset, Jimmy look good. Tom Brady has one of the best supporting casts of his career. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Brate, Gronk.

Tom Brady is currently having success. Josh McDaniels is currently failing.
