Best sport in the world iyam.....

Basketball is definitely the best sport in the world. NBA is still trash.

Zero parity, everyone knew in December that it would be Cavs-Warriors with the Warriors winning in convincing fashion.

Its lame af.

That's not true at all. There was some uncertainty in both conferences in December. Don't use revisionist history now. Heck, both teams were down 3-2 WITHOUT home court. No one knows for sure what happens if Kyrie/CP3 don't get hurt.

No, not really. Celtics and Rockets both shocked people, everyone knew what the final would be.

And they proved they were for real. Rockets were the best team all regular season and dominant heading into that series. Don't act like there wasn't any drama to get to the finals. Of course these two teams were predicted to get to the finals before the season since they have been there the previous three years.

the NBA offseason and regular season are awesome. endless entertainment. finals haven't been great, but parity in any sports league is a myth tbh. and the playoffs were pretty good throughout

What? The NFL, NHL and MLB have plenty of parity.

And two of the Finals games have come down to the wire and another had Steph going bananas in the 4th quarter. Only bad part is it is 3-0,  but if Cavs won yesterday or game 1, folks would be talking how entertaining the finals have been.

it's a myth bro. where the greatest players end up still determine who wins championships. there's been like 4 QBs that have made the SB outta the AFC since like 2001. Brady, Manning, Ben, and Flacco (outlier). I can go on for a while on this but it's not extreme parity like people think.

The nature of the game of basketball definitely lends to the better team winning more often than other sports (players playing both sides of the ball, can play a lot of minutes, less players in the game, more possessions etc) but championship level parity isn't really a thing in other sports as much as people think IMO.

It'd be super easy honestly.

Celtics get - Lebron James

3rd team gets - Kyrie Irving

Cavs get - Assets from 3rd team

It's actually the best case scenario because they'd get way more value from a team trading for Kyrie Irving than they would a team like Houston or Boston having Lebron force Cleveland to S&T him there for a couple late 1sts. I don't think it'll happen but its probably Lebron's best choice if he wants to explore it. Stay in the East, finally have a great Head Coach and be surrounded by a lot of talent.

Except Lebron makes twice as much as Irving so the Celtics would have to add about 11 million more in outgoing salaries to make it work.

There was drama. Rockets were up in game 7 without CP3, the rockets could have won that series with the injury. So there was drama. Same results but definitely drama.
