I'm on board with #98. if he's gone by the time we pick, what about 147?

I'm surprised 66 is still on the board. Still alot of late round guys I like. Sucks only having one pick remaining.

Couldn't agree more. I was really hoping that the Packers would've traded up with us.

Pick 2.9 (#41) - Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State
Pick 2.11 (#43) - Carlos "Boogie" Basham Jr., DE, Wake Forest
Pick 3.38 (#101 - 96) - D'Wayne Eskridge, WR, Western Michigan
Pick 4.7 (#113 - 70) - Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M

Thanks for the help! The group really came together and helped pull a really good product out from unfortunate circumstances. I'm glad that we were able to make this happen.

I think Mond is a fantastic choice.

I'm really intrigued by his skillset and upside, and I think DET offers him a great opportunity to sit behind a good NFL QB for a few years. The supporting cast - and especially the offensive line - should be a huge benefit for a young quarterback.

He could be the next Dak and solves our QBOTF problem on a ridiculously cheap deal. It would allow for us to use those 2022 1sts to build up the talent base and we can use the cap room to add FA's. If not, he's a backup that should stick around for next to nothing. If he hits, that's a W for this draft.

Yeah, definitely, and that line about the future picks is so true. Imagine having four 1st round picks over the next two years to spend on everything but QB. That would be insane.

2022 NFL DRAFT (PFF'S TOP DEFENSIVE GRADES FOR '22 ELIGIBLE PLAYERS)

- Adam Anderson, Edge, Georgia (93.0); #5 Pass Rush (92.5)

- Durell Nchami, Edge, Maryland (92.7); #1 Pass Rush (95.4)

- Nigel Brannon, DL, Memphis (92.0)

- Rashad Scott, S, San Diego State (91.1); #2 Coverage (92.2)

- Tylan Jones, Edge, UAB (90.5)

Just a preview but there appears to be some really good defensive line prospects coming out.
