The Kansas City Chiefs are trading their first-round pick and three additional picks split between 2021 and 2022 to the Baltimore Ravens for Pro Bowl offensive tackle Orlando Brown and two picks, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Ravens receive the 31st, 94th, and 136th picks this year plus a 2022 fifth-rounder, while the Chiefs walk away from the deal with Brown, the 58th pick, and a 2022 sixth-rounder, according to Schefter.

If this was the only deal on the table then we should have made no deal at all. Awful trade.

You're completely out of your mind man. Go pour some cold water over your head. This is a hell of a deal for us.

We get this kind of return for a player who was never seeing a 2nd contract with us. How is that bad?

We gave up a Pro Bowler and a 2nd round pick for a late 1st rounder. Get real. Better to just let him walk for the comp pick than this.

It's a good thing we don't have to go through KC to win a championship! Oh wait...

Weigh the options

3rd round comp pick next year
Brown Walks

Or

-Multiple selections to fill RT in an offensive linemen loaded draft.
-Potential to trade back from a 1st and garner more draft capital.
- 2nd round value for Brown who had 17 games remaining with us

The value thing is blah blah blah.

Simplified

Stanley-Bozeman-???-Zeitler-Brown

^^^^^probably one of the best OLines in the league and could potentially win Super Bowl

Stanley-Bozeman-????-Zeitler-Probably Villanueva

^^^^^average and trash if Stanley gets injured and won’t win Super Bowl

We are maximizing Lamar's rookie contract window by making KC unbeatable lmao

You're acting like we just traded them Jon Ogden in his prime.

They're good, they're going to be good. If sending them a LT means we can't beat them, chances are we weren't beating them anyways. We got draft capital which will likely be turned into more.

I'll put my money on EDC and the front office to come out looking like thieves when this deal shakes out in 3 years.

Please explain your reasoning? There is a ton of quality offensive line depth in this draft along with pass catchers. The Ravens are now in a great position to capitalize on this draft!
