We didn't move Jacobs, we didn't move Drake, we kept Ragas, we added Bolden, we added Abdullah, and now we've drafted White. What are we going to do, keep 6 RBs? Bolden and Abdullah we're cheap enough, but that money could have been spent elsewhere. The money allocated towards Jacobs and Drake could've likely been used elsewhere. Or the player themself. Adding talent is great and all, but it gets redundant at some point. We have a lot of resources tied up in RB now in terms of money, draft capital, and roster space. Ragas is fringe NFL player, Bolden is a one year special teamer. Jacobs has been injury prone, Drake didn't even get starts when Jacobs went down last year.

For the right player/position I wouldn't have been upset. For a guy likely to be RB4....no too early, too rich.

RaiderX
Really like the Farrell pick. Once rotation of him and Haskins in the middle.

RaidersAreOne
I'm good with the White pick. Not an immediate need but I think JJ and Drake are gone after this year. White looks like a tough runner with great speed. The injuries are a worry but he seemingly is healthy now.

If Jacobs gets hurt. White could step right in and Drake can remain in his role.

Ok, in that case, spend the rest of our draft picks on RBs because we can't just have White for next year and nobody else is signed. 🙄

If the rationale is that none of the other RBs are signed beyond this season, it was a need, which we addressed by trading up for an oft-injured reach of a RB.
