And lemme tell ya, I might have been talking out my arse a bit when I said I’d rather have crappy QB’s for the next 2 decades than Watson.

Discussions about Mullens vs Keenum or the potential upside of Jordan Love is something I’m 100% not ready for.

Is there a possible redemption story for Watson?

Lol I can’t tell if you’re ****in with me

Let's calm down, there is. If somehow audio/video of 22+ women conspiring against him gets leaked, I'll eat a ton of crow and come around on that redemption arc.

Agreed. But it would literally take this. And EVERYTHING we know about the world says this isn't gonna happen.

Michael Vick was called a hero when he has his Philly redemption year. I can’t wait to declare Watson a hero after he takes us to the playoffs.

The moral equivalencies people are making on here the last few days to justify this stuff have been iiiiiinsane.

Serial sexual predation =/= dog fighting, or running from the cops while drunk, or cheating on your fiance, or driving drunk. ALL of those things are wrong/bad, but none of them show a pattern of victimizing other human beings except the first.

Again, is it possible the dude is innocent? Yes, it is. BUT everything we've learned about sexual predation in connection to power in the last few years says that is insanely unlikely.

If you want to keep cheering for the Browns if they acquire the guy, that's fine! There's nothing morally wrong with that. But don't think you need to somehow justify the dude's actions in order to do so. Because THAT'S where the real problem (for us as fans) would lie.

Would Jamison Crowder make sense as a cheap veteran slot with great hands/route ruunning?

While we are in the mode of cutting a bunch of guys--I would not like to run it back with DPJ in any sort of major role.

Personally, I'd say no. We have a crew of #3/4 type guys (DPJ, Schwartz, Higgins if he comes back). I'd prefer to use the money we'd spend on ANOTHER #3/4 and either pay up for a #1/#2 guy, or put the money into the DL to allow us to focus earlier picks at WR.

I’d argue what Vick did was every bit as bad.

Higgins is gone, Schwartz is a specialist and I saw enough of DPJ last year to not really want to have to rely on him as more than a rotational guy.

W1- Cooper

W2- Wilson/London/Olave

WR3- Crowder

WR4- DPJ

WR5- Schwartz

WR6- Felton/Grant

DPJ just turned 23.  He’s younger than a lot of guys who will get drafted this year.  There’s a lot of upside there.

Gonna have to agree to disagree on that. I think his behavior points towards moral problems that are likely similar (other animals/people exist to benefit me). But I put more value on human life than animal, thus why I can eat bacon. Just my spot on the issue, totally understand equating the two.
