This truly is the worst organization in the NBA. Absolutely laughable. There are maybe 4 playoff rotation caliber players on the Mavs. One of them is hurt half the year, one is a 6th man who is our #2 option and that we’re going to pay $20+ mil for, and the other is Dorian Finney-Smith who wouldn’t start for almost every other playoff team. Mavericks aren't going to blow their load and overpay average guys when Kawhi, Harden, Durant, Beal, Kyrie, LaVine, Butler, etc. are set to hit free agency next summer. NYRaider Posted August 2, 2021 Author Share Posted August 2, 2021 Tyler Bey is only 23 years old, 6'7" 215 with a 7'1" wingspan (43.5" vertical), Dallas just drafted him #36 in 2020. He only played 71 minutes for them so I'm surprised they didn't bring him back. During the G-League bubble he played for the Jazz G-League affiliate and averaged 16.2 ppg, 9.7 rpg on 47/32/77 splits.
