The Eagles wanted to grab him if he passed waivers, and I think a few other teams wanted to claim him, but the Texans snapped him up with the #1 waiver wire position. And last year he didn’t play in the slot bc Moreland played in the slot and played well there all year, he didn’t give up a TD all season. This year they gambled. They moved Fuller back to the slot when teams are going 3 or more wide and chose to play St. Juste at outside corner in the nickel bc they like his size, length and potential. The communication is now a mess when last year that wasn’t much of an issue when Moreland was in there and in the slot. It’s really a travesty that they kept Roberts - who is 30 - over Moreland. Roberts is inactive every week. I understand that Moreland hasn’t played in Houston this year bc of his knee injury but he certainly should be on our roster & inactive every week or on IR & we can bring him back when he’s healthy. I guess I didn't follow him in Kansas City closely enough to argue the point, but I thought he was really solid all over the place in Kansas City. As far as I know Kansas City used him everywhere. He was mr versatility. I believe they even used him a lot at Free Safety. I think there is something more to this than Fuller's skills. That is why I compared it to Young. Young didn't suddenly forget how to play football, there is a bigger issue. I don't believe fuller went from hero to zero as a slot guy. It is like them playing man coverage but giving the receivers cushions. It looks like the DBs can't play man, but it is just cause they are playing a cushion and opposing teams are playing quick game getting the receiver the ball before the coverage fully engages. I am just speculating though. I do know St. Juste is not suitable as a slot guy. He just isn't quick enough. They are content on letting him sit out his career. This is a weird post. AGG has earned his spot on the bench. When used in actual games he has been a liability so far. Look at his stats from last year: 7 Targets, 1 reception. Plus he is a horrible blocker. Plus he has struggled to stay healthy. He showed a bit this pre-season, but pre-season doesn't exactly count.
