well, if Ruggs is who Gruden thought he was, he should be able to get over the top of just about anybody. he was taken at #12 to be a regular gamebreaker, not just an occasional deep threat like Rico Gafford

Humphrey is an All-Pro with 4.40 speed, lol.

Tbh you really have to wonder what the Ravens mind set will be for MNF. To lose those amount of players in such a short amount of time can really mess with your mindset heading into the game. Raiders gonna jump on them early.

It can go both ways…it can destroy their confidence or it can give a next man up mentality that everyone is counting them out. Really depends on the team and culture

At some point it is just to much to overcome.  This team has zero excuses for not winning this game.  They could be playing the local high school team and there should be no let down because it is the first game in front of fans in their new home.  This is setting up to be a perfect storm for us.  It will have to be an Atlanta type meltdown for us to lose.

full disclosure, this is me just passive-aggressively complaining about the Ruggs pick more than a serious strategy proposal

Ruggs had less targets then Jacobs last year, lol. We need to get him involved in the short passing game this year.

I think you're underestimating the fact that they have one of the best players in the league in Lamar Jackson and an elite defense, lol.

dont underestimate Lamar's ability to be a one man wrecking crew. all i know is any time they run a zone read or RPO, i would just have the free defender play it as if lamar is keeping it, every time. keep the ball out of his hands as much as possible, plus you can land some free shots if he hands it off
