swoosh
best album of all time. dear theodosia - probs not in the top 10 for a lot of you knuckleheads, but you’re wrong. helpless - phillipa soo has me down for the count. satisfied - a club banger. you’ll be back - what I tried to tell my ex. non-stop - this one has a little bit for everything. a versatile, crowd pleaser. what comes next? - not sure why this guy gets a lot of hate, so catchy. wait for it - lamar odom starts out upbeat, then slows it down, then starts it back up. love the tempo. burn - deep af it’s quiet upton - a real sad boy song. beautiful. criminally underrated. my shot - one shot, one opportunity. to seize everything you ever wanted. alexander hamilton - his name is alexander hamilton…deep. sets the tone. aaron burr, sir - catchy but dude doesn’t want to take a stance. grow a pair. elevated with the dude that pounds samuel adams. schuyler sisters - he should’ve tagged team them tbh. who lives, who dies, who tells their story? - last song is a pretty underrated one. that would be enough - a good song to drink whiskey to if you’re a sad boy like me. take a break - why are soo’s songs so underrated? say no to this - so relatable, right boys? the story of tonight - let’s have another round tonight. my motto. unfortunately not much substance here. one of the shorter songs. best of wives and best of woman - may be only 47 seconds but this is a real nice one. i know him - he’s back one last time. history has its eyes on you - woah, woah, woah. the room where it happens - would love to be a fly on the wall. could you imagine? guns and ships - not bad. what’d I miss - not much. the story of tonight - reprise a winter’s ball - ladiessssssss cabinet battle #1 - getting high with the french. the election of 1800 - ok. washington on your side - would be nice. cabinet battle #2 - one of these was enough. the world was wide enough - damn, burr. the world was wide enough, bruh. one last time - could've done without one last time tbh yorktown - meh farmer refuted - meh stay alive - I mean, a good motto to live by, but unfortunately the song is no good. the adams administration right hand man - this song is pure trash. meet me inside - no. we know - nope. your obedient servant - at this point I’m just putting songs anywhere. blow us away - idk any more. then duel commandments - no. hurricane - absolutely not. stay alive - reprise - ugh, are we almost done? the reynolds pamphlet - my lord. schuyler defeated - wtf let's hear yours... Logjam after that. all good ones. the room where it happens has arguably the best hook of the album, but unfortunately not a lot of depth for me. Mostly agree, tbh Top 5 (plus a bonus or two) Wait for it Yorktown (what are you doing rating it so low?) Take a break (this is the song that I rate way higher than everyone else) Non-stop Helpless Satisfied One Last Time Other thoughts The opening 5 tracks are awesome - but they are overrated because they just get listened to the most. Lots of deep cuts later that are better songs Phillipa Soo and Christopher Jackson are the best singers, and are both overlooked compared to some of their castmates Anything with the sisters is better than most of the men's song (besides Wait for it, which is subjectively the best singular performance) I know him is definitely the best of the King's songs Cabinet battle #1 is better than Guns and Ships (you agree, but very few do) The White House poetry jam version of the opener is the best version of the opener Farmer refuted is the most clever song on the album that nobody knows exists
