Louis Friend
I don't have the time to spruce this up. I'm flying out to Texas for work today and will be gone all weekend. Don't know how much of the game I'll be able to watch live. Could really use some good play by play here.
jrry32
I imagine this one isn't going to be pretty for the Lions.

diehardlionfan
This could be very ugly for the Lions.

Maybe Sewell will perform well enough to force Decker to move. That would be ideal IMO but not likely.
LionArkie
a rookie after taking a year off and having a not too great preseason against Nick Bosa. What could go wrong?

Goff just aged from 26 to 34 and the year hasn't even started yet. Get that boy a life-alert.
detroitroar
I'm excited to see the kid compete at his natural position. He may very well have a bad game but hopefully it would make him better.
LionArkie
I have always wanted to see him at LT and Decker at RT. I think that makes our line a lot better, but only when Sewell was ready. This, to me, is about worst case scenario for the kid. I expect he will get beat a few snaps but he has a nasty streak and those guys seem to self motivate pretty well. I’m worried about the right side of the line at this point. At least Goff will see his life end. P.S. How fast does Goff run?

jrry32
I hope Sewell surprises by looking great at his old position. Because if he struggles, it's going to be a very ugly game for Detroit. Goff can do some good things if you protect him. If you don't, he's very not good.
detroitroar
I think this is a great test for this new coaching staff. The 49ers clearly have the better roster, so game planning and adjustments will be critical to have a chance. I'm particularly anxious to see our new defensive front perform. I love Barnes, Alim and Levi. I think it will be the most improved unit for us.
