Outside of some Ben fanboys, I dont think most Steeler fans were against that. Most I talk to want both Ben AND Tomlin gone. I think the main argument for keeping Ben, if there is any, is that no other QB we can get is really going to do much with this offensive line. Ben shouldve absolutely retired, though. All he is doing is hurting his reputation the longer he hangs on. If we had the same offense we had back in 2016, including Munchack, LeVeon, AB, etc...) and last years defense completely healthy, Id say Ben could have some better success behind that....but thats not the case.
