diamondbull424 Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 Not sure what’s going on, but with the market that should be available, getting anything for Gilmore seems like it would be better than nothing. Can’t imagine a team wouldn’t at least fork over a 4th/5th on securing what could be an impact talent. From the sounds of it, Gilmore’s priorities are being paid first and winning second, he’s also from the Carolinas… seems like the Panthers could make for an optimal fit if that’s the case. Someone absolutely would have traded for him even if it was just a late round draft pick. Who knows, maybe he doesn't sign with anyone this season, but this just confuses me a bit.
