Hot take coming…

Barmore is a top 5 pats draft pick in the last 10 year

As far as value for the pick is concerned, this is 100% not a hot take.

It's basically between him, Hightower, Logan Ryan, Trey Flowers, Shaq Mason and Joe Thuney.

Wow. I was confused because I assumed it was an athletic dive in the secondary and couldn't see the ball!

Surprised the commentary focused on the error not the great play.

They were probably in shock. With that said, Gumbel and Archuleta were terrible in the booth yesterday. Especially Archuleta.

This defense has to be in the top 5 of the league this year, right?

I mean against Dohnold it’s not the best time to make these assertions, but stats-wise over the whole season so far….we are pretty good on that side

Without question.

Huge worry about Mills being exposed with teams that have multiple WRs (and there are lots).

Unfortunately it did look like Stevenson got kicked in the head at the end of the play. He might miss the game against the Browns due to a possible concussion. Which would be a shame because when he doesn't fumble he is a more talented player than Harris or any other RB on the roster. He isn't all that fast but he just glides all over the field at 250 pounds. It's pretty insane.

The Pats can go on a run here, we just need to be more disciplined and focused on the task in front of us. The offensive penalties were inexcusable and can not happen again.

top 10 for sure and they have stepped up their game since Dallas.

That's why the Gilmore thing was stupid. Neither Mills or Williams can handle elite outside receivers. Myles Bryant looks to be more than fine replacing Jonathan Jones but the 2nd outside corner spot is going to be an issue.

Barmore? Bryant showing up as another potential UDFA find. Like you said, Stevenson continues to show flashes.

Plenty of positive take aways from a sloppy win.

This draft class has been great.

Barmore, Mac, Stevenson. If they continue to hit, this draft class is very good. The 2020 class is going to produce several starters as well with some taking some more time than others. Perkins and McGrone from this year will be bonus but the class looks good either way. If you have similar success in the 22 draft especially at the position that require an overhaul (OT, LB, CB) you might have a title roster on your hand.
