Plenty of first time HCs have failed, learned from it, and came back much better than before. That Bills defense was one of the best and got schooled by a HOF/freak level QB. Big deal. Eberflus just let a team who averaged less points than any other team in the league school him to end the season in a must win game to get into the playoffs. I guess I'm wondering why the 62 year old DC, who is/has never been elite at that role, who was a bad coach when given the opportunity, and was in over his head last night, is someone you want to lead your team. I think you guys are placing too much emphasis on the "last night as a one time thing" element. Last night isn't the main reason why I wouldn't want him as my coach, it was one final reason to remove him from a conversation he probably shouldn't have been in anyway.
