Think you're still missing the point. If they viewed Jack as a building piece, someone to spend 12M+ a year on, they would of already extended him. As for Howie not drafting a LB in the 1st despite having 3 picks. If he chooses to do that, He deserves any and all backlash that will come with piss poor LB play in 2022. Nate Herbig played at or above replacement level this past year. We need a long term option at RG, but that will be found in the draft not FA. Hasn't been a revolving door and it'd be really dumb to spend significant money there with the cheap guys we have on the roster who have shown to ability to step in and play at a solid to good level. We need two starters. I've never gotten why Howie values the position so little when the two most successful eras in franchise history were with a defense cornerstone at the position. Howie has never been a huge spender in FA and it was always one or the other. I am fine with Reddick, lets see what mid level guys we get. I am guessing a WR and a DB.
