We can be interested but until verifiable proof exists that we made him an offer, it is literally impossible for him to choose someone over us. How are you not comprehending this?

Geezus Christ ok

The New England Patriots and their former offensive coordinator appear to be competing over a pending free-agent wide receiver.

The Patriots and Josh McDaniels' Las Vegas Raiders both have interest in Jacksonville Jaguars wideout D.J. Chark, ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday.

ok so since we’re playing word games what does the bold mean to you?

I'm done with it bc he still doesn't understand the difference between "an offer"  and "interest" .

The troll got me and I'm sorry I fell for it again, everyone.

Troll? Get off my nutz you the one trolling me over 4 words about a comment that wasn’t even directed toward you. That’s 100% Venusian activity

I think the expectations of this roster is why a lot of people are flipping out over this free agent period. Next year is the year we should be players in free agency. If the last couple of draft classes wasn't so bad we could have been players. But we got dead money and 3rd year amd 4th year players at decent numbers that isnt contributing. I think it might be time to come to grips that this is more of a get the books right/evaluation  year. Which I'm fine with.

We were not a couple of free agents away with a better coaching staff away from being a regular playoff team. We need a good draft class this year. Luckily we don't have to do a full rebuild this time cause we have a lil bit of talent already. This offseason is very similar to offfseason pats had 2 years ago before covid season started with cam as their qb.

Then I believe he probably isn't smart enough to learn a McDaniels offense.

Or maybe we interviewed him and he's dumb as a rock so no offer was made (EDIT: which would coincide w/ him not able to grasp McD's offense lol). There are many variables that can attribute to "interest" not leading to "an offer".

Big QB extension comes with sacrifices..

but all seriousness, still lots of talent left

Yeah, there absolutely is but that doesn't mean we're going to land it and that's the problem lol. I am curious if this money is being saved for Carr or (and hopefully not) Davante Adams
