I think this is a bit of a caveat though. He's only been with 1 franchise but he's been with the Chiefs for 13 years and prior to 2018 the Chiefs weren't even close to as successful as they are now. He's also worked with quite a few GM's. One of my favorite things about him is that he played OL in college and the Chiefs have had awesome success drafting OL recently- Trey Smith, Creed Humphrey, Lucas Niang. No doubt Poles would have an affinity with the OL given his history and that would be massive here…I still worry about the one franchise history and who he might want as an HC…if he has some kind of link to a Leftwich then that would be pretty good…apparently, he is friend with Joe Schoen so maybe that opens up something… Still think he will lose out to Morocco Brown who just seems like an easy and great fit here…another guy who really understands the importance of the OL with Nelson, Kelly and Smith upfront. CBears019 Posted January 22, 2022 Share Posted January 22, 2022 Honestly the only one of those things that concerns me is the one with the parking attendant and i feel like there’s more to the story than just that. These incidents are all like 30+ years ago. The NFL has a short memory if you’re good at your job, so i doubt these alone would be stop a team from hiring him if they truly thought he was the best option to be their HC.
