NoDakViking
Surprised Catalon didn't come out this year.

He had a pretty poor year, only played 6 games missed the rest because of injury and he was far better in 2020. I think he made a good choice to return and should have a great season next year assuming he can stay healthy. Safeties are undervalued though, Jevon Holland, Antoine Winfield Jr, Trevon Moehrig, Kyle Dugger, Grant Delpit, Taylor Rapp, Jessie Bates and Budda Baker all fell to the 2nd round and should not of, especially Budda, Bates and Winfield I had all of them late 1st rounders easily. Bengals will have to pay up to keep Jessie Bates I feel, he has been great for them the past four years and is a free agent in 2022, only cost around over $1 or so a year for some big time production at safety, had 3 INTs each year and tons of passes deflected his first three seasons. THE DUKE
For the Buckeyes: Stroud is about right I love JSN, but that seems a little rich for him Too high on Dawand Jones, if he has a good year, I can maybe see 2nd round Too high on Harrison. Three years in and he's still more athlete than football player. Paris Johnson likely moves back out to LT this year, and I could see him having a good year and getting into the 1st With Proctor the big question will be health. If he can stay healthy, he's an easy day 2 pick by talent, but that injury history..... Others for consideration: I could see Steele Chambers having a big year at LB and playing his way into Day 2, big time athlete. Lathan Ransom and Ronnie Hickman have the athleticism to get into the top 100, health has been a factor, but the new defensive scheme might help these guys shine. Crazy how much of the Buckeye's best skill positions on offense are so young. Henderson, Harrison Jr, Egbuka, and Flemming are all likely at OSU for 2022 and 2023. Smith-Njigba I do not have too high, he arguably outplayed Olave and Wilson this past year when they were all on the same team and both of them could be 1st round picks. He is a superior route runner and was amazing last year, zero reason to think he is not the #1 WR coming out in next years draft until proven otherwise. Addison and Reed are good but neither one is better than Jaxson. As for Dawand, name me a OT better than him in terms of pure upside and potential. There is no one, sure he might not play up to that standard but it is not a great OT group on paper and OT is a massive need in the NFL. I think he should easily be a 1st round pick with the athlete that he is and what he showed this past year and assumed continued improvement. Sure he struggled at times this year but wasn't that his first full year starting in his career? The dude is going to improve and be better next year. As for Zach Harrison, sure might be high but again I feel at some point he will produce and reach his potential but yeah if a fourth year cannot do it, nothing can. Paris I might have low but will see if he can actually play LT at a high level or not, but yeah he is one of the more talented OL in the nation coming into next year. As for Chambers and Hickman, they have a long way to go for me, they were nothing great last year but sure that could change a bit, Hickman as a rover type LB but doubt he could ever play safety in the NFL. It is a ridiculously talented team no question about it but that is nothing new.
MikeT14
I'm just not in on Brennan Armstrong like others seem to be. He looks and feels like a 2nd/3rd tier QB to me.

He looks and feels like a 2nd/3rd tier QB to me. The dude only played 11 games and was 4th in the nation in passing yards, Bryce Young for example played 15! The guy was wildly impressive considering he showed none of that high level ability before and I assume will be even better next year but sure maybe it was just a one year thing. Either way they had a decent WR core but Virginia passing the football like that? Since when has that happened especially with Bronco as the coach. What Armstrong did this year in an offense not typically ran like that was crazy impressive and his showed real natural touch as a passer and great ability to make big plays and spread the football around to a variety of receivers. I would take him over Nix and Rattler no question right now and he is just behind Young, Stroud and DJ but sure that could change. The guy played absolutely great last year and no reason to think he will not continue to improve.
Ozzy
Updated with a complete 7 rounds now instead of 5 which was back in January, had to reach on a few guys to fill it out though in the later rounds and sure more will show out as the season starts. Ozzy
Andre Carter II JR OLB/DE Army I am going to have to watch the dude more but could be the best prospect to come out of army in a very long time, possibly 20+ years. Sure Army had Alejandro Villanueva a few years back but he was a project 6-10 TE who transitioned to OT in the NFL and turned out to be very good, but he was a UDFA. Andre Carter if he continues to improve could be a legit 1st round pick with that freak size and athletic ability. I have not included him in the 2023 draft ranking yet because I have to watch him more but if he keeps on the trajectory he could be right up there with any edge guy in the draft, his ability to drop in coverage at 6-7 250 is extremely impressive as well, raw athlete that was dominating last year. Very interesting talent and super rare coming out of Army. He could be the first Army played drafted sine 2008 and that was a 7th round pick then the next one was in 1997 in the 7th round as well, and could be the first 1st round pick from Army since 1947 if he improves off his All American season last year. It could be a deep draft sure some what disagree with that, the OL especially OT group is not going to be super strong compared to the last few years unless some guys really step up or improve their play greatly. Also last year had tons of dudes who had a 5th or 6th year granted because of the pandemic, sure some will be doing that again this up coming year that did not do so previously but not nearly as many, last year there was like 50-70 guys granted another year were prospects in 2021 I thought and went into the 2022 group which greatly increased the depth of the draft class itself. Will be interesting who breaks out this year, Travon Walker, Kenny Pickett, Jameson Williams, David Ojabo, Lewis Cine, Jermaine Johnson, Tyquan Thorton, Trey McBride, Troy Andersen, Jelani Woods etc all really came on and massively improved their draft stock last year. Tetsujin
I predict by 2026, there’ll be 10 starting cornerbacks from the 2023 class.

Not sure that is saying all that much, I think in the 2021 class there were 10 starting corners. Sure some started because of injury but still a ton of those dudes started last year and they have only been in the league 2 years. Eli Ricks, Antonio Johnson, Joey Porter, Jarvis Brownlee to me are all elite guys but the rest have a lot to prove. Malachi Moore is great but needs to stay healthy, Cory Trice has never taken his game to the next level, Tiawan Mullen kind of dropped in play and production last year will see if he can bounce back. Cam Hart is physically talent but will see if he can take it to another level, Riley Moss is good but might be better at safety in the NFL will see how he does this year. Sevyn Banks transferred to LSU so will see how he does, Nehemiah Pritchett is good but needs to take his game to another level, same with Khyree Jackson, Steven Gilmore, Myles Jones, AJ Hampton, Greg Brooks, Jay Shaw and Anthony Johnson Jr etc.
Ozzy
Georgia has an absolutely stacked TE room, arguably one of the best TE groups in the last 20 years. They were stacked already with Bowers returning who was a monster last year and the massive Darnell Washington who is a mountain, but they get Arik Gilbert the LSU transfer who is a very physically impressive TE and the potential star freshman TE in Oscar Delp. Four totally legit guys and the entire offense will run around those four TEs and they probably will play three TEs most of the time if they are smart, could easily split out wide either Bowers, Gilbert or Delp. Brock Bowers SOPH Arik Gilbert RS SOPH Darnell Washington JR Oscar Delp FR Texas could be damn good offensively, defensively who knows but on offensive they will be great. Have the best RB in the nation with Bijan and Ewers can flat out spin the football. Very live arm and a master at off platform throws. The WR core is super deep with Whittington and Billingsley should be a weapon at TE but the real potential star is Ja'Tavion Sanders, he could be a great TE and make Billingsley sit on the bench because that dude can move and is big. Neyor the transfer could be amazing as well and he has big time size and athletic ability. Then there is Worthy is one of the best deep threats in the nation at WR no question about it. If they could just be ok on defense they could be a good team because that offensive has tons of potential. Then there is Alabama, the team with arguably the best two players in the nation on the same team. Will Anderson is arguably the best player in college football hands down, and Dallas Turner is opposite him but behind that Jeremiah Alexander the true freshman could be an absolute super star edge rusher, will not see a ton of time but when he is in there he will make things happen off the edge. The secondary is the best in the nation, the deepest and most experienced. If the OL improves watch out, and at WR Christian Leary could surprise some people and Gibbs will greatly improve the run game and the pass game with his versatility. Really crazy thing is they got Jalen Milroe just sitting on the bench at QB, I bet they put some wildcat packages in there for him, that dude can flat out move and has a decent arm, moves around like a baby Lamar Jackson almost in terms of his athletic ability and build.
