What’s 28th overall or wherever we pick going to do for us?

Get us a 2 time pro bowl player or a one good season Nick Perry?

What’s that compared to a Super Bowl win?

All we're going to be able to afford via trade is a rookie contract deal. Same as last year. Anyone with a player worthy of being traded for a 1st, that's on a rookie deal, is probably not someone that team wants to move.

So if you get a bite, it's going to be for a guy who you're paying more than he's worth for.

We were all in, we're up against the cap. Stop trying to be a contrarian because the Rams got lucky. We smoked them earlier in the year and had a better team than they did. Every SB team needs to find some luck along the way, we've had the opposite of luck ever since we won in 2010, where we had more than our fair share in that run. Outside of luck, Aaron hasn't been himself in any of the games we've been eliminated in.

Please don’t be ridiculous.

You always are, but look at logic and common sense.

Goff was dead cap. There is a difference. If you can’t see that, your brain is dead.

The whole 'you can't spend more than 12% or whatever it is of the cap on your QB'  rule is what happens when people look at stats for too long drawing conclusions without knowing why they are drawing them.

You need a good team. Obviously. If you spend a good chunk of your cap on a QB then its going to be a problem as there is less to spend elsewhere. Obviously.

The same applies to dead cap. If there is too much dead cap then its going to make your team weaker. If the Rams spend 44m on their QBs that gives you 44m less for the rest of the team. Whether that 44m is on one QB, two QBs, three QBs, 12 QBs or is all dead cap is irrelevant and has the same impact on the team's chances of winning.

To have a blanket 'you can't spend more than 12%' rule is just a clear logic fail.  It implies a team that spends 20m on Rodgers can win the super bowl but a team that spends 40m but borrows 20m from future years can't.  Both leave the same resource for the rest of the team. That year anyway.

Andy Herman - That Logan Wilson call is so brutal on so many fronts.

1. The call hadn’t been made all game long.
2. It came at the absolute worst time.
3. It’s brutal for the Bengals & their fans to have that happen.
4. It sucks for the Rams too because there’s now a bit of an asterisk.

5.  Rams were guilty of a false start on the play meaning that the PI should never have happened in the first place, as the play should have been blown dead at the start.

Yeah.....I heard somebody mention that this morning.

I can only wish the Packers had been granted a new set of downs in their "inside the 10" series late against the Bucs.

I can agree with all of this, but the Packers never make a bold move.

That’s kinda where I’m at.

Where was our bold move to try to win?

We always balk at future cost when any bold move is presented to us.

Yah that was brutal.  Refs all the sudden get flag happy?  Not a good look at all.  A couple of other ticky tacky calls at the end there.  Total BS...Really ruined the game.  As for point 4 had that call not been made the Rams would have probably lost.  Can't stand bad officiating affecting the outcome of the game. These guys getting paid off or what?  It was bad really bad...

You can't ***** about the Logan Wilson call and ignore the missed Tee Higgins facemask on Jalen Ramsey on the Bengals TD.

Yes you can, the refs let them play all game. Ramsey tugged Higgins on a RZ slant earlier in the game for a PBU. Higgins got some revenge ( it was a bad throw, Ramsey didn't react to it fast enough, I think it was a TD either way).

Within the context of the rulebook? Higgins should've been flagged. Within the context of the game? Wilson (which I don't believe was a hold even within the rules) sure as hell shouldn't have.
