Jimmy is sitting the bench. You're just wasting 27 million on a guy not playing. It defeats the purpose of having a rookie QB salary. Hell, lance's contract hit is 7+ and sudfeld is 2. That's nearly 40 million dollar QB room when you're starting a rookie QB. They’ve moved Trent back over to the left side, Wynn reportedly hasn’t been doing so hot on the right. He’s on his 5th year option, so I think even if he were to have a strong season, Bill’s not looking to backup the money truck for a guy whose been solid-but-not-great and has missed almost half of his 4-year career. It looks like they’re willing to roll with Cajuste/Herron on the right, or move Onwenu back over there and have someone else start at guard. Wynn’s a solid tackle that’ll stabilize the position for you, when healthy. You don’t want him to be your best linemen, but he’s certainly a starting tackle that you don’t actively look to replace - so that’s something in this league.
