MWil23
Under 24 hours from the Giants wanting to look at him for their DC. Makes sense.
SpacemanSpiff
Move makes sense; Austin's put together some decent NFL defenses in the past, IIRC. I think he'll do well with the level of personnel the Steelers have on that side of the ball.
VigilantZombie
He didn't have a choice. It was that or lose him to the Giants.

Trentwannabe
I remember him being a hot name a few years ago. Seems like a smart choice for the Steelers.
minutemancl
One less option for the Giants, who interviewed him. Good news is there are still a ton of good options at DC available. Anyone but Jim Schwartz.

The guy who seemed to have played a critical role in the turnaround of TEN’s defense behind the scenes this year (along with his reputation in years past)? I like this hire though. Not sure what caused him to lose some luster the past couple years. No reason he shouldn’t have been heading up a defense.

He was a terrible DC with Cincy and our DBs havent been notably impressive under him. No one shouldve been promoted after this years garbage. I don't love the promotion
