Probably the best mock for Dallas I’ve seen. First 4 rds are HRs, though I think 56 and 88 should be flipped.

I love that draft from what I have watched.

I just don’t see Jelani Woods falling out of the 2nd round. A 6’7” TE who had 8 TDS in 11 games last year, and then ran a 4.6 with a 38 inch vert… In a TE starved league that saw some ridiculous FA activity… if you want Woods he needs to go in round 2

He was projected like a 4th rounder when I first looked into him, but you are probably right.

I agree with this.

I wouldn’t be upset if we took Woods at #56, but there are some really good TEs to be had a round or two later.

But honestly, 1. Cross 2. Williams 3. Shakir 4. TIght End would be a home run draft. So, I’d be giddy with that outcome of taking Woods at #56.

I don't see Cross dropping like that but would be happy with Green....   In 2nd I would have taken Edge Ojabo over Woods... then in the third WR Robinson over Williams.

But overall great draft indeed...   Getting shakir in the 4th is a steal.  Love getting a kicker in the 6th...

My latest after using Lastyears list of possible OL in another thread..

1 Burks   (could have should have? gone Dean)

2. OL Parham

3. WR Shakir

4. T Zack Tom

5 LB D'Marco Jackson    or do we want LB McFadden....

5 CB Cordale Flott

5  LB Sewell

6 WR Josh Johson

The only thing that is a concern about above is ZERO safeties...    if I did it again I would go Dean think the value is much higher then Burks and Shakir can give us the depth and replace Wilson's production by end of season I hope.

I don’t know. Looking at the past 6-7 yrs of the draft, it looks like it’s about 1/5th of the TEs taken fell into top 2 rds and about double that went rds 3 & 4. There are a few outliers that were given rd 1 grades out of the gates. McBride is the only one I recall projected to go that high and he’s now projected in 2nd or 3rd.

Until I see differently, I think TE falls under the same category as C and S. Important pieces, but not as valued come draft day.

I do admit I lean your direction when it comes to Woods. He’s a freak. But, we’ve seen other freaks at TE fall into mid rds. I think this is probably where he lands.

I think he’s probably a reach at 56 but probably won’t be there at 88. I still think WR rd 1 and iOL round 2 is where it’s at.

My knowledge of the mid round guys is limited. But rounds 1-3 are home runs. I likely would have gone TE in round 4.

I dont know all the names, but I love the first few and Dicker the kicker. I think the positions are mostly right. We dont need a S this year, but it wouldnt hurt to start developing one.

Mel Kiper mocked us 1) Arnold Ebiketie and 2) Abraham Lucas this morning.

This would be… not good. But fortunately, no other tea leaves make me think this would be realistic.

The mock I’m participating in…

1.24 - Zion Johnson
2.56 - Quay Walker (felt he was clearly BPA)
3.88 - ??

one pick away. Guys still available

Sean Rhyan
Greg Dulcich
Calvin Austin III
Kalil Shakir
Deiron Kendrick

If you hadn’t drafted Zion, I’d say Rhyan. Go Dulcic or Shakir.

Also, definitely a Muma>Walker guy at #56
