TheRealMcCoy
With the 2nd overall pick the Detroit Kneecap Biters select Aidan Hutchinson DE Michigan I'm probably not as high on Hutchinson as others that think he's by far a top 2 prospect in this class and separated from the rest, but this just makes too much logical sense and I think we are doing this mock based on what we think these teams would do, so this is the pick. He's a hometown kid staying in state that is one of the higher floor top guys and has the character that Lions coach Dan Campbell will love. @Kiltman is OTC

Quote Former Michigan offensive lineman Graham Glasgow, a third-round pick of the Lions in 2016, agrees with that assessment. He worked out with Hutchinson for a few months during the COVID offseason in 2020, and was blown away by the strength of the then-19-year-old. But he also said Hutchinson isn’t quite as good as the Bosa brothers, although his game reminded him of the brothers and would be an excellent fit for Detroit at the next level. “He was strong as (expletive),” Glasgow said. “It’s kind of weird to me he was born in 2000. That kind of messed me up a little bit. He was 19 years old (when we were working out), and he was doing the same weights that I was doing, and I was going into my fifth year in the NFL. I was like, ‘What the hell man? Like, what are you on?’ ... I think he would be a good culture fit (for Detroit). I know all their (coaches) came from the Saints and I don’t know if they really want to run a 3-4 for forever, but I feel like he would be a great 3-4 or 4-3 D-end. I think he’d be great there. Former Michigan Wolverine and Detroit Lion Graham Glasgow sure thinks so.

(1st being 3 points, 2nd being 2 points, 3rd being 1 point), so yeah different thread for that. Let's the whole board be more involved with it.
Kiltman
3) Houston Texans One of the few constants of this 20 year old franchise has been a strong pass rush. Mario, JJ, Clowney... when the Texans are picking this early they like to bolster that edge with a big body freak. So let's keep with tradition and take a big bodied bully who they hope can help change this garbage fire of a team. OL Ikem Ekwonu, NC State Looking at the board between now and round 2, there will be edge guys and safeties to be had round 2. But premium OLinemen will go fast. They also will probably be getting compensation for Watson IRL that make this more of an easy choice, but for now they take a super versatile Olinemen who can help that offense do something. Without that they'll never do anything. @Dangeryou and the Jets are up
Danger
4) The New York Jets With a man we're all very familiar with at the helm, he definitely is going to favor certain positions. He's already taken a QB and someone to protect the QB high in the draft the past two years. Now he turns his sights to the other side of the ball. Selecting arguably the most talented and highest ceiling player in this years cycle. With the 4th pick, the New York Jets select: Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon@EaglesPeteC You get the ugly ugly Daniel Joneses
EaglesPeteC
I think this is the first turning point in the draft. The top 4 are pretty chalk. The Giants need EDGE and T which is all that has been picked so far. The question is who is EDGE 3 and who is T 3 and who is the most worthy of the 5th pick? After all the dust is settled I think it's going to be this guy, unfortunately...... with the 5th pick the New York Giants select Travon Walker EDGE Georgia @TheRealMcCoy is OTC with the Panthers
TheRealMcCoy
I don't want to go QB here with how bad this class is. Just feel 6 is too high and we can't trade down, so I'll go with a need the Panthers have needed to fill for a minute and have been pretty bad at for a minute is and that's offensive tackle and I'm gonna take the last of the top 3 still left on the board. With the 6th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers select... Charles Cross OT Mississippi State Great pass protector and something they are gonna need going forward no matter who is playing QB for them this year. @Kiltman is back on the clock for Buffalo South aka the Giants
Danger
That was actually unexpected. I fully thought Malik Willis would be the selection. NFL teams gonna reach desperate for QBs.

I hate you for this smh, but good chance I make the same pick it would've been between him and Cross for the Giants for me. I actually could've seen Travon going at #3 to Houston. Both Dane Brugler and Lance Zierlein are putting him to the Texans in their new mock drafts coming out which I'm sure will shock some people. 7 hours ago, Kiltman said: One of the few constants of this 20 year old franchise has been a strong pass rush. Kilt even made a perfect pitch right here for Travon Walker being the pick, but went with Ikem which makes a lot of sense, especially if they are moving on from Tunsil which sounds like they are trying to cause they don't wanna be paying him big when they aren't a good team.
