onejayhawk
Here is the list. Pick 21 Trent McDuffie CB - Washington Pick 30 George Karlaftis EDGE - Purdue Pick 54 Skyy Moore WR - Western Michigan Pick 62 Bryan Cook SAF - Cincinnati Pick 103 Leo Chenal LB - Wisconsin Pick 135 Joshua Williams CB - Fayetteville State University Pick 145 Darian Kinnard OL - Kentucky Pick 243 Jaylen Watson CB - Washington State Pick 251 Isiah Pacheco RB - Rutgers Pick 259 Nazeeh Johnson CB - Marshall Both 1st-round picks hit. McDuffie made the Pro Bowl in his second year. Karlaftis took over when Clark moved on. Skyy Moore is still undetermined but Byron Cook looks like a mainstay for years to come. Leo Chenal played a lot in the playoffs. The dude hits and can rush the passer. Williams was lower profile in his second season but still an important part of the secondary. Kinnard is the only player who is not still with the team none What can you say about the 7th-round picks? Watson has split the CB3 role with Williams. Pacheco has outplayed our 1st round RB. Johnson is one of the best gunners in the league when healthy. Three hits with premium picks, a couple of solid middle picks, and gold in the late going. No GM alive (or departed) would reject having his name tacked on that haul. While I'm still not convinced on the Veach draft results as a whole ... this one hit gold top to bottom. The year before was equally impressive but smaller. 2.26 LB Nick Bolton Missouri 2.31 OL Creed Humphrey Oklahoma 4.39 DL Joshua Kaindoh Florida State 5.18 TE Noah Gray Duke 5.37 WR Cornell Powell Clemson 6.42 OL Trey Smith Tennessee Three Pro Bowl level starters and a TE2, plus we acquired Orlando Brown for a couple of years. I don’t know how you can not be in the Veach bandwagon. Been at the helm for all our recent success. He’s missed a couple but he’s also uncovered some incredible diamonds. Guys like Smith, Chenal, Williams, Watson and Pop. He’s also active, having grown up in WI through the Ted Thompson years where, they just wouldn’t sign a free agent, wouldn’t go after a guy they thought might get them over the top…I’ll take the occasional miss for constantly trying to improve our team.
onejayhawk
Darian Kinnard was signed by the Eagles. He's not here but he's still in the system. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/chiefs_lose_former_fifth_round_pick_to_eagles/s1_16631_39993376
