Bonanza23
Ok my thoughts on a really early preseason game. Windler is better at defense than I’d imagine. Also very good rebounder. People already calling for him to move down to the d-league, shake my head aholes 3) Garland not there yet, but he’s on his way. 4) Dotson, we got Dotson here. See nobody cares. (Jurassic park reference for you dummies) except we just might care 5) it’s one game of a Covid year preseason with no playing for what seams like years 🤷🏼♂️ 5) it’s Covid amiright? I just watched the Cavs 🤷🏼♂️ we on 6 yet?) Thong, Thrawn, Tron...err whatever dudes ugly. 7) I know what you guys are looking for. 😎 here goes Thong is skinny! 9) Indy defense is really admirable. 10) Phongs phace is one that only a mother could love. 12) that piped in crowd noise was bad. 13) how sad was the Q without fans? 😢. Literally one of the best fan experiences that I know. Going there and watching the Cavs is a great experience and we can’t do it 🤬 (14 What a moment the 4th quarter was for our shiny new rook Okoro! 😎. He got the stop and he got the shot. /15 Lebron who? [flat earther who?

It was our flat-earther whose first chance to win it with a buzzer beater, against IND iirc, blew it. Yeah, it's preseason and IND was a regular season game, but given that his D created the opportunity, I am much more impressed with this young man that our flat-earther. AkronsWitness
-Garland has a improved confidence -Cedi looked like he has been playing overseas all year -Exum needs to chill the eff out on the turnovers. thats all he did. -Okoro looks like the Andre Iguoudala doppelganger everyone thought -Windler looked like he has not played basetball in a year. 3 airballs Edited December 13, 2020 by AkronsWitness
QBIso
Okoro is gonna be special. A lot of people crapped on his jumper like the dude was gonna be unguarded at the 3-point line. He’s good enough to draw defenders out there and then beat them off the dribble. The dude has very impressive handles and passing ability for a SF. I like playing him against the other team’s best player. He can lock up on 1-3 and even guard some of the slashing 4’s. Okoro and Okongwu were the 2 best players in the class IMO. I think we’re gonna be thrilled with this kid, even tho he’s not a BONAFIDE SUPERSTAR.

He was the safest pick in the draft and it’s why I wanted him. Felt before the draft he is Andre Iguodola. Just need him to continue to fill out his frame. His upper body is the area that needs a little work, but he’s still extremely strong for a G/F. I just hope he can become a corner 3 specialist offensively. If he became a good 3-point shooter, he could be one of the NBA’s best 2-way wings.

I absolutely loved kyrie when he was here. Super talented individual and for certain we don’t win that championship without him. But dude embraced stooge technique and now gives the loonie tunes stiff competition.

Raves
So Deni had a pretty impressive pre-season opener as well. I had Deni and Okoro as my 1a and 1b so I'm not upset in the slightest with the Okoro pick.

candyman93
I completely forgot we drafted Dylan Windler. I like his shooting stroke.

Dotson is the only one who will be in rotation, outside shot of starting at the 2. Really nice shooter. Mooney is god-awful and hopefully won't be on the roster but if he is will be G-League/Inactive. D Wade was one of our stars on the Canton Charge that we brought up and will make team and play a reserve role and likely never see floor. I think he's got a contract next year though. Stevens is a UDFA stretch 4 from PSU who might make back end of roster Bolden is a traditional center who's performed pleasantly well in preseason. May or may not make the team. Our rotation will be some combo of: My guess is our rotation will be Garland, Sexton, Okoro, Osman, Love and Drummond getting ~30 minutes a game Nance and Dotson getting ~20-24 minutes Exum, Delly, KPJ and Windler cleaning up the rest
