We aren't reliant on JUST him, but he was such an intregral addition to this defense that is a force multiplier for the rest of the unit and makes things easier on everyone behind him. He was way better of a pick and more important as a rookie than most realized when we selected him. We upgraded the other spots we needed to before the draft besides CB2 which luckily got addressed later with Bradberry. Gannon isn't the one missing some of these tackles either. It IS reliant on him. It's not even just this game. Every single time Davis is off the field there is nearly zero push for the Dline.
