The Bears kinda suck, and they just traded their best defensive player, so this is a game we should win. And, ideally, win big. That said, I'm never not going to be concerned about us facing a running QB, as they always seem to get theirs against us. They do have a decent secondary which may limit our WR's opportunities, but I think our TEs and RBs should have a favorable matchup to catch passes against a star-lacking Linebacker corp.

My prediction...

Miami 30
Chicago 17

FINS UP!

Fins - 27

Bears - 13

Please, for the love of everything holy, make Justin Fields throw the football down the field.  Things will go swimmingly if they do.  That defense that just traded away arguably their best 2 front 7 players isn't going to be stopping the offense.  Only reason I only put the Fins at 27 is because I think the Bears eat up a bunch of clock with tons of run plays.

That run game is no joke. I think it is too soon for Claypool to be a huge weapon in the Bears offense but he can stretch the field, they don't have to have a ton of packages with him in order to do damage.

I expect Miami to win but Fields is an absolute wild card who has the talent to take a game over with his legs against an overly aggressive pass rush.

Miami 31

Bears 20

Our defense sucks ***

Zero sacks. We have drawn one holding call which was negated by a D holding. Very little pass pressure.

Our lack of DB depth is killing us. We aren't as creative without our safety combo of Jones and Holland. We continue to have to keep Holland in deep cover 1 to try to compensate for the other guys we have out there in coverage. Kohou has been good tho even in run support.

LBs don't play downhill against the run. We have good interior D linemen but if they don't stuff the run our LBs aren't doing the job.

You have to wonder how much of our defensive success last year was Flores.
