We’ve had such terrible luck with refs this year. That was blatant DPI.

It this point it isn't luck...there was zero chance we were getting a PI call on a guy the NFL wants to become a star in Sauce Gardner...especially when it is Siemian to Claypool.

Sounds like you’re hinting at a conspiracy

Box score scouts see 61 pass yards on the first drive and ignore that there was about 6 air yards and 55 YAC lol.

YAC and accidental turnover (WR drop leading to int, etc) should be a facet of qb stats imo.

No conspiracy...just happens in every sport...Tom Brady gets a roughing the passer call that Justin Fields doesn't get...Leo Messi gets a penalty that Andrew Robertson doesn't...LeBron gets a foul when Gary Payton II doesn't...

All sports want to build stars and you can tell with the media coverage of Gardner this season he is one of those guys they are taking a chance on...officials see that throughout the week and call it accordingly...like I said no different from any other sport even if it isn't right.

I was speaking in jest. Those who say the nfl is scripted is a far cry but the minuscule things like stars and potential stars getting favorable treatment is easy to see and not a conspiracy. Anything to sell those $150 jerseys.
