Week 15: San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks

J-ALL-DAY

We had a missed FG & kneeled inside the 5 yard line. Plus we had a FF from Hufanga that the Seahawks recovered and 2 dropped INT's from Greenlaw/Hufanga

If we had converted/been aggressive on opportunities we could have blown them out. That being said, still a quality win

Impressive win by the team.  In spite of all of the things working against him Purdy looked very poised out there.  He got fooled once, but he got lucky.  It's gonna happen from time to time, so the more times he can learn something without the costly pick the better it is.

The Defense played well until the last drive, they got flat footed out there in the 4th quarter.  I think our lack of rotational depth hurts a little on the back end, but these guys are not 300 LB's, they should have cardio for days.  The D played very fast throughout the game, and I felt the back end stood out positively, even in spite of the late game sluggishness.

Game should have been a bigger victory and led to a 28-3 lead, but that stupid call on Bosa changed everything. Also the drop late by Aiyuk, and the Gould miss led to more "drama" than there should have been if one can call it that. Overall, to go on the road and win the division against an always crispy nemesis feels great. The bonus prize is a now 3+ week resting period for key contributors. Everything is falling into place for the 49ers to make a run for the 6th Lombardi.

Also, the 49ers might be the first team in NFL history to lose both their starting triggers, and upgrade both times. Humor courtesy of the Gridiron Gawds har har har...

Hufanga had a FF that the Seahawks recovered. Greenlaw dropped a INT. Gould missed a FG. We kneeled on 1st & goal.

This should have been a blowout. We missed some opportunities for sure.

So we're pretty much locked into the 2 or 3 seed

Basically we should be rooting against the Vikings to overtake them for the 2 seed?

Think every other team is irrelevant now in terms of our seeding

Don't forget to root against the Cowboys and/or eagles.  If the eagles lose 3 out of 4, and the cowboys lose 1 or 2, the 49ers would surpass the NFC east winner.  It's highly unlikely, but still possible.

GIVE. MASON. MORE. TOUCHES.

Kyle is going to run CMC into the ground at this rate. I just don't get the reluctance to give Mason more opportunities. CMC shouldn't be taking 98% of the load, on a short turnaround, on that brick-like turf. It's as if this staff relishes making the game harder for themselves than it has to be. I don't get it...
