I question the smarts of anyone who doesn’t.

I can stand slumping over a sink or I can stand under a jet of hot water.  Tough choice.

I’ll say it…a hot bath is about as good as it gets for me. Helps ease joint pain, back pain, helps me sleep, let’s me put Epsom salts in and watch a show.

A hot bath for relaxation/recovery?  Absolutely.

As a means of cleaning yourself?  Oof no. Sitting in a small pool of water circulating around my dirty *** and nuts at the end of the day ain’t gonna leave me feeling clean.  A proper shower before you wrap it up is a must.

Is there any other reason? I mean, do people actually soap up in a tub still?

Hot bath after showering has been part of my bedtime routine for years.

I have the disposable toothpick/string style floss and a WaterPik. Use the toothpick/floss in the AM and WaterPik at night:

- Morning: I’ll rinse my mouth with mouthwash to get the taste out, then pour another cap of mouthwash, and let the toothpick/floss sit in the cup while I brush, so when I do floss, I’m getting final bits out while getting mouthwash into the crevices.

- Night: I’ll fill my WaterPik tank with about 80% water and 20% mouthwash; I start with that and get 50-60% done with the  WaterPik, switch off to brush, then finish off the tank after I’m done brushing.

A few more notes:

- I invested in a Sonicare toothbrush. Worlds best toothbrush by a lot.

- I brush my teeth in the shower. I love a hot shower and usually stay in the shower much longer than I should, so I brush extra long because I don’t want to leave.

The ONLY reason to have manual toothbrushes is in case of emergency. With how cheap they are nowadays there's no excuse to not have an electric toothbrush.

I have one in my bug out bag, but that’s it. Maybe if I’m traveling for work I’ll take one, but I’ll usually take my Sonicare if I’m there for a week.
